Leone Lorrimer is CEO of dwp|suters, one of Australia’s largest architecture and interior practices.  Over her 30 year career as an executive of two major Australian practices Leone has led award winning, integrated architecture and interior projects for major corporations and government.  In the Middle East Leone managed the design process for internationally significant city scale masterplans and iconic cultural buildings.

 

In Doha, Leone oversaw the construction of the award winning Qatar Science and Technology Park.  In Abu Dhabi, Leone was design manager for a commercial and retail tower designed by Frank Gehry and for three new museums by Frank Gehry, Jean Nouvel and Foster + Partners. These projects provided first hand experience working with these leading international practices in their own studios.

 

Leone has a deep understanding client requirements, collaboration, design response and execution.  She is also sensitive to context: physical, cultural and economic and the responsibility of the architectural profession to deliver holistically sustainable solutions.
