A corporate adviser, company director and broadcaster, Narelle was founding co-chair of Fairfax Media’s annual Australian Financial Review - Westpac Women of Influence Awards and former editor of the Financial Review’s award winning BOSS Magazine.

 

A highly regarded interviewer and facilitator, her special focus is on how organisations can make practical changes to innovate and grow in the new economy.

 

Recent examples of her work include advising the Business Council of Australia aspects of its long term Economic Action Plan and chairing the CEO Institute Summit 2015. She also facilitated the NSW launch of the Australian Property Council’s Male Champions of Change.

 

Narelle is a member of the Tasmanian Development Board, a director of the Documentary Australia Foundation and the St James Ethics Centre.

 

After growing up in country NSW, Narelle studied journalism at Canberra University and has a Masters of Management (Financial Management) from MGSM.

 

During more than two decades in business journalism, she has worked as political correspondent for BRW, with ABC’s national current affairs programs AM and PM and Radio National and SBS Television.
